Well, I’m ending this spring break week with a spring tutorial.
I showed you this wreath last week when
I revealed my mini-living room makeover.
I love the fresh pop of color it gives my living room mantel.
It was super easy to make, too. Yay!

As most of you know by now our family
has been enjoying Spring Break this week.
This year we are sticking close to home,
& it has actually has been kind of nice & relaxing.
I did have a few fun activities planned
for the kiddos to keep them busy.
One of them was hosting a Spring Fling party at our house. Yay!
Lots of talk about Spring on the blog this week!
Here’s some pictures from my front flower beds.
Most of these flowers were planted last spring & fall,
so I’m super excited that most of them came back & look so pretty!
{I seriously use to kill every plant I tried to grow!}
I finally learned that plants do much better if you don’t forget to water them!

So far our spring break has been fabulous! Yay!
Today’s fun activity was a Spring Fling at our house.
We had tons of fun outside activities
planned for the 20+ kiddos we had invited.
Mother Nature had other plans…..
it was pouring down rain this morning! Yikes!
We were able to adjust our plans,
& it ended up being a lot of fun.

When I started my blog almost a year ago
I never in a million years thought I’d have
the opportunity to work with an
amazing company like Lifestyle Crafts.
It really is a dream come true.
Annnd if wasn’t for all of you I would

Earlier this morning I told you that this week was our Spring Break! Wahoo!
Annnnd for the first time in a long time we aren’t going out of town for the whole week.
We do have lots of fun things planned though. I’ll be sharing some of them this week.
On Saturday we planned to work in the yard as a family.
Good plan because it turned out to be an absolutely beautiful day. Yay!
We always plant a garden, & we have tons of flowers in our front flower beds.
I’ll be sharing some pictures of our flowers later on this week.
{I’m kind of excited about my flower beds!}

I was super excited to get my new Silhouette Cameo.
I had so many projects & ideas! Like this & this. I couldn’t wait to get started! :)
Well, unknown to me my 2 year old, Cole, had BIG plans for my Cameo, too! Ummm…not good!
Just a little background on my little Cole-Man. He is extremely busy! Always into something.
Like the time he put Vaseline in his hair…yep, his hair was sticking up like that for a couple of days until the Vaseline finally wore off. Then there was the time he put lotion all over his forehead, and the many, many times he has colored himself with markers. Do you see a pattern???
Yes, usually he is doing crazy things to himself…buuuuuut that would soon change. Yikes!
