Good morning! My kiddos had their last day of school yesterday! Yay! Summer break is finally here. :) I love, love, love summer. Good morning! Whew! I am ready for the weekend! We have been working so hard on our new home & selling our current home. To say it’s been crazy around here is an understatement. We can do hard things! Right? ;) This week I decided to create a special movie night in the park for my kiddos. They have been so good about helping out during our move & keeping the house clean for all the showings. I thought they deserved a little bit of a break. ha! Gooooooooooooooood morning! How are you? I have been busy painting our new home all. week. long! I’m almost done! Hopefully, today will be the day! ha! We are headed to IKEA tomorrow to pick up the kitchen cabinets. Eeek! In case you missed it, I shared our floor plans here. We close on our old house May 30th. Building Our Home: Floor Plan

Hello there! This post is a long time in the making! ha! We started building our own home last April. Annnnnd a now a year later, we are just about ready to move in. It’s still a work in progress! It’s definitely the biggest DIY project we’ve ever tackled! Over the next few weeks & months, I’m going to take you through the process.
