Good morning! I don’t know if I have officially announced it here on the blog yet. Buuuut if not, here we go! ha! :) My oldest son is getting married! Eek! Crazy, I know! How is he that old? Annnd how am I that old? ;) He will be getting married in Utah in just a few weeks. Next month, we will be having an open house at our house to celebrate. So, I have been busy getting everything ready for that. I want to keep it sweet & simple. We are going with a farmhouse picnic theme complete with BBQ, candles, patio lights, outdoor games, buffalo check tablecloths, farmhouse metal chairs & of course, using lots of pictures in the decorating. I love decorating with pictures in my home, & a wedding reception is also the perfect place to display photos of the happy couple. Happy Tuesday! Well yesterday I told you that I was headed to Texas for my little sister’s wedding! Yehaw! Well, I’m pretty sure she is going to be too busy to be reading my blog this week, so I’m going to go ahead & show you her wedding gift! Shhhhhh! ;)

My sister, Leigh did something similar for me when we got married a few years ago! Well, maybe it was more that a few years ago! ha! ;) Anyways, I bought a huge 2 gallon glass canister at Walmart & filled it with all those kitchen gadgets that they’ll need ~ a can opener, peeler, measuring cups & spoons, salt & pepper shakers, corn on the cob holders, spatula, whisk, etc. Then I made it extra cute by adding some fun Silhouette vinyl to the outside of the canister!
