Hello! It’s Friday! Do you have any big plans for the weekend? We are busy with the usual fall things like football & soccer games. I’m also hoping to sneak in a few projects in there, too! ha! ;) I love fall. There’s always so much fun to be had. A few week’s ago I was shopping at Walmart, & I spotted a brand new low calorie popcorn called Skinnygirl Popcorn. Don’t you just love the name? ;) I was so excited! If you know how much I love snacking on popcorn you’ll understand my excitement. :) I’ve been looking for some snacking choices with better ingredients, & I love, love popcorn. So it’s a perfect match! In a few week’s I’ll be hosting a girls night. I wanted to come up with a yummy snack to serve. I also wanted a skinnier version (of course!), & this popcorn is perfect! Hello! How are you? Awesome, I hope! If you have followed me for a little while (especially on instagram) you know that we recently added on to our house. It was quite the undertaking! We did all the work ourselves, & it took us a year almost to the day! In June we passed the final inspection. Boy! What a relief that was! We still have a few landscaping projects to finish outside but the inside is completely done. I’m working on decorating now. It’s taking a little bit longer than expected! Hopefully it won’t take a year. ha! ;) Anyways, I had picked out a yellow rug (You can see it HERE.), but the neutral loving me couldn’t handle it. ;) So recently I switched it out for a white, shaggy rug & put the yellow rug in our bedroom. It looks so much better, & I love the yellow in our bedroom. Yay! So about the same time I was doing the rug switch-a-roo I was contacted by Will, the co-founder of a website called Rug Pad USA. Rug Pad USA specializes in manufacturing higher end, eco-friendly rug pads that are made in the USA. He asked if I would like to review one of their rug pads! Hello! Hello! How was your weekend? Ours was crazy busy, but fun. :) We had an away football game (2 hours away!) on Friday night that my older two went to. My 11 year old & his Dad had a Scout camp out that night. So I was busy sewing on patches right before they left. ha! Then the younger two & I had a fun movie night. Then Saturday we had the open house for our brand new church building. Fun stuff! I’ve been so busy that I haven’t had time to break out the fall decorations yet, but I did find the time to play with some cute Halloween paper from We R Memory Keepers. Aren’t these Halloween treat boxes adorable? I love them! So keep reading to see how I made them. :)

One of our favorite things to do on a Saturday night is to have a movie night right at home with some yummy treats, of course. ;) If you haven’t heard yet Captain America: The Winter Soldier came out on DVD this past week. Hello! How are you? Last week I was a craft making machine! ha! I am in charge of our church’s craft night or more commonly called a Super Saturday! Ours is actually on a Thursday night so we are calling it a Mini Thursday. Hello! Happy Monday! I hope your weekend was a great one! Ours started out hot, & then it turned cool & rainy. I think fall is on it’s way. :) I’ve been busy organizing all of our school supplies & trying to come up with a system that works for our family. I wanted something that would serve the purpose of keeping all the supplies in one spot, was easy to get out & looked cute with our home décor. You know that’s important! ha! ;) I think I found the perfect solution. I used Americana Decor Chalky Finish paint to makeover an old basket that I had thrown out in the garage months ago into a fun homework caddy. So keep reading to see how I did it! :)

Hello! Happy Friday! Tonight is our first home football game. So we are excited! That means fall is just around the corner. :) Have you started decorating for fall yet? I haven’t! These pictures are from last year. ha! ;) I usually wait until there is a little nip in the air before I bust out the fall décor & pumpkins. 90 degrees just doesn’t feel fall enough to me. Hello! How has your Labor Day been? Ours has been busy! Whew! We are using our Labor Day to do just that ~ labor! ha! It’s nice to get a few things done around the house though. :) I’m also working on a ton of craft projects. I’m in charge of our church’s craft night in October. So I’m busy coming up with & making examples of all the crafts we are going to be doing. So fun! Today I am excited to bring you a yummy recipe with one of my favorite foods ~ California Ripe Olives.
