Good morning! How was your weekend? Ours was good….we were busy packing up. This week is vacation time! Wahoo! Before we leave I wanted to pop in & share this cute baby tutorial with you. Hello! How are you? I have a super fun & easy tutorial to share with you today! Yay! :) In a few weeks our family will be headed out on a quick trip for Spring Break. 15 Fun Things to do This Summer {summer kick off}

Hello! Well, Memorial Day is the official kick off of summer vacation! Wahoo! I am so ready! :) I’ve told you before how much I love summer & what it means to me. Summer is a special time to enjoy your family. I just love it. We have big plans this summer, so I’ll be taking it easy on the blog, especially during the month of July. We have two huge trips planned for either side of the country that month. It should be lots of fun. We are headed to North Carolina for a week, and then later that month we will head to Yellowstone, Idaho & Utah. What an adventure! Happy Monday! I hope you all are having a great start to your week. :) Our family is just about to head out for a quick trip to Texas. My little sister is getting married on Friday in Houston! Eek! So excited for her & her hubby to be! :) Since it’s my youngest sister getting married I’ve been thinking back to when we were younger. Oh the good old days! ha! ;) Do you remember jelly shoes? Right before my little sister was born I remember my Grandmother taking me to the store & buying me my own pair of jelly shoes. I thought I was so cool. Well, have you heard #JellysAreBack? My youngest son is turning 4! I can’t believe how fast they grow up! Seriously, it seems like yesterday we were bringing a brand new little baby boy home from the hospital! Instead of being kind of sad about my baby not being a baby anymore, I decided to throw a huge celebration for him & make this the best birthday party ever for my big boy! Wahoo! :) 

My little man has been in love with the Disney Cars movie forever. I haven’t been able to watch the news this past week without crying.  The stories of those that were taken way too soon just hits too close to home.  So heartbreaking. I have a 6 year old daughter, & I can’t imagine the pain & grief these families are going through.  My thoughts & prayers go out to all of those that were affected by this horrible tragedy.

If any good can come out this tragedy is that I hope all of us take time to slow down, hug our children, spend time with them, listen to them & never take a second for granted.  There is nothing more important to me than my family & my children.  I am so grateful for each of them & the opportunity I have to be their mom.
