Good morning! I love my family! Annnnd as my kiddos have gotten older (Why do they do that?!), family pictures have become more and more important. Good morning! Happy Tuesday! I don’t know if you know this or not, but I love flowers! :) When we first got married (26 years ago TOMORROW!) I didn’t have such a green thumb. ha! I always planted pansies in the spring in Texas. Then I would wonder why they died so quickly. Pansies don’t love heat, & they really should be planted in the fall not spring. I’ve gotten just a little bit better over the years. It’s a mix of planting the right type of flowers & watering & feeding them enough, too. For the last several years, I’ve planted petunias in our front flower pots, and I just love them! They are super easy to grow & flower all summer long & into the fall. Good morning! As most of you know our summer was full of moving! In June, we closed on our old house & moved into our brand new (almost finished!) home. Needless to say we have been busy! This week we are actually (finally!) rolling over our construction loan into a regular conventional loan & closing on our new home. Annnnd I will be so excited to finally be done with this whole process. I’ve learned a bunch along the way though! We were definitely on a budget throughout this whole process. Good morning! How was your Labor Day? Fantastic, I hope. :) I think we labored a little bit too much! ha! We are busy working on a huge project as a family. I’ll share more details soon. A few weeks ago I was able to attend the Cricut Mountain Make-a-thon in Salt Lake City. It was nice to get away & relax & mingle with some amazing bloggers & friends. While I was there, Cricut announced 3 brand new products. Eek! I’ll be telling you all about each of them in the coming weeks. By the way, my Cricut Maker just arrived a few weeks ago! Good morning! I hope you’ve had a fabulous week & that you have been following along with my Cricut® question series. You can see question 1 here & question 2 here & question 3 here & question 4 here & question 5 here & question 6 here. Whew! That was a lot of “ands”. ha! Annnnnd now we have moved on to question 7 ~ Will I be required to use cartridges with the Cricut?
Truthfully, this is what held me back (for years!!) from purchasing a Cricut machine. I didn’t want to buy cartridges! I also wanted to cut my own fonts. Annnnnd thankfully both of those options are available with the Cricut Explore machines that are available right now from Cricut. Yay! So the answer to the question is a big NO! You do not need cartridges to use these machines. Yay! Annnnd don’t worry! If you do have Cricut cartridges they can still be used on these machines. So it’s a win win for everyone. Yay!

Hello there! One of my must haves in my kitchen is a hot beverage station. We do not drink coffee, but we are addicted to hot chocolate. ha! Annnnd in the winter (or on a super cool summer night like we have been having here) a hot cup of apple cider is perfect. Hello there! Oh my goodness! We are right in the middle of sports season (again!). Annnnd I spend a lot of time on the sidelines….sometimes for hours and hours and hours. ;) Anyone else have a kiddo in track? ha! You know what I’m talking about!
