Good morning! The big day is almost here! We are almost in the single digits countdown! Are you ready? It seems like every year I’m down to the last minute on so many things. I’m trying to do better this year. ha! Buuut I’m usually a wrap everything on Christmas Eve kind of girl. I kind of like that tradition. ;) Thank goodness everything usually works out when I do that. It wasn’t always that way though! There has been many a Christmas Eve when I’m in the middle of “Santa” mode, & I have realized I have forgotten something! Like the batteries! Eek! Right now you can receive a $5 Walmart eGift card when your purchase $15 worth of Energizer® batteries or lights this holiday season. Today I am sharing my 10 Things Not to Forget this Holiday Season list with you! I want to hear what’s on your list, too!

1. Batteries!!!!!

Many years one of those things that has been forgotten are the batteries! Which isn’t good when toys & games (that need batteries) are always on the top of my kiddo’s Christmas list. I don’t really have this problem anymore, because I love to stock up on Energizer® batteries all year long & especially at the holidays. Annnnnd this holiday season you can score a $5 Walmart eGift card when your purchase $15 of Energizer® batteries or lights. :)

don't forget batteries

Most often you can find Energizer® MAX batteries and the Energizer® Ultimate Lithium™ batteries around our house. The long lasting power Energizer® Ultimate Lithium™ batteries can’t be beat. Each battery’s safety-conscious, leak-proof design gives you confidence that your most-loved battery using devices are protected against leaks & corrosion. Ultimate Lithium™ batteries are the clear choice to dependably power the must have devices in your home. Energizer® Ultimate Lithium™ battery is the #1 longest-lasting battery on the market.

Energizer® MAX batteries are the ones I usually stock up on & have on hand all the time, because they can hold their power for up to 10 years while in storage which is so awesome! This is what makes them ideal for stocking up on. ;) You can feel confident that they will be ready to go when you need them. I used these in my son’s new remote control car that he’s getting for Christmas. Shhhh! ;)

I also use them to power games like this one for my daughter. My son uses them all the time for his game controllers. (I’m thinking of putting some extra batteries in his stocking!)

2. Christmas Cards

Another item on my don’t forget list are Christmas cards. Get those Christmas cards ordered! :) I always like to send mine out right before Christmas Eve.

3. Stamps

Stocking up on stamps goes right along with the Christmas cards. You definitely don’t want to forget those, if you’re mailing cards out.

4. Wrapping Paper

Wrapping paper is another must. Annnnnd you want to make sure you get enough! I get those huge jumbo rolls. Usually two rolls is enough to wrap all of our gifts. Sometimes I get extra rolls of striped or polka dotted paper that doesn’t look too holiday-ish. I can use it if I need o, and if I don’t, you can still use all year long for birthdays. :)

5. Tape (lots of tape!)

Don’t skimp on the tape! Make sure you have plenty for that late night wrapping party! ;)

don't forget this!

6. Scissors

Scissors are a must. Hunt the ones you have down, so you know where they are Christmas Eve or buy a new pair! You’re going to need them. :)

7. Tags

Gifts definitely need tags! I love the sticker kind. They are so easy to attach to the presents.

8. Ribbon

Ribbon just makes the presents look prettier. ha! I like to get a variety of textures and types. The ric rac is my favorite! :)

9. Stocking Stuffers

Don’t forget the stocking stuffers! I like to get small things like slime, gift cards & candy and useful items like hats, gloves or socks. Annnnnnd like I said Energizer® batteries make amazing stocking stuffers for the extreme gamer in your life. ;)

10. To Do List

One of the secrets of staying on top of things & not forgetting anything has to be my to do list. I start mine in early December, so by the time Christmas has rolled around I have everything I need and plenty of Energizer® batteries to make Christmas morning a success! :)

Annnnnnnnd by the way if you think you’ll be hunting through the attic on Christmas Eve night looking for presents Santa might of stashed up there, be sure to grab a Energizer® Brand Headlights. They are definitely the most useful light product you can have when you’re doing those important tasks that require both of your hands. haha! They also make great stocking stuffers as well. My 9 year old wants one in his stocking! :)
