You can find these forms on their website as well, and fill them out before you arrive, if you would like. After, a short wait we were called back. They did the usual physical exam and took some bloodwork. In a few days, they will contact you with the results, and you can go from there. We were told that most men have lower testosterone levels as they age. When you raise those level back to normal, energy levels and general well being increase. The comprehensive health screening includes: CBC, PSA, and Testosterone.
Why is it important?
It’s important to care about your health. I know when my husband and I were younger, going to the doctor was not high on our list. As we’ve gotten older, we have realized how important it is to stay on top of our health. With health screenings, you can catch many things before they become a huge problems. How was your experience?
Our experience at Epoch health was pleasant. The office staff was friendly and welcoming. They were more than willing to answer all of our questions and address our concerns. Their waiting room was warm and inviting. My hubby really enjoyed what they had on the television. I swear he could watch car shows all day! ha! ;)
What did you learn?
We learned that screening for and addressing health concerns was important. As a woman, I loved that their offices were inviting to men from the décor to what was on the television. It was all geared to make my spouse and other patients feel comfortable and at home. Feeling comfortable and relaxed in a healthcare setting is so important. I know my husband enjoyed going, and wouldn’t mind going back! :)
