Earlier this morning I told you that this week was our Spring Break! Wahoo!
Annnnd for the first time in a long time we aren’t going out of town for the whole week.
We do have lots of fun things planned though. I’ll be sharing some of them this week.
On Saturday we planned to work in the yard as a family.
Good plan because it turned out to be an absolutely beautiful day. Yay!
We always plant a garden, & we have tons of flowers in our front flower beds.
I’ll be sharing some pictures of our flowers later on this week.

One of the things we always plant are sunflower seeds.
We usually add a row or two in our back yard garden.
Sometimes we even add a few to the front flower bed as well.
My kiddos love watching them grow into something HUGE!
We usually save the seeds for the birds to eat during the winter.

While we were working in the yard Saturday the kids were excited
when the postman delivered a box just for them! Inside the box was the

since my kiddos LOVE to grow things

My kiddos LOVE planting seeds, so this part was their favorite. 
Here’s our little sunflower garden all planted….just waiting to grow!
Since it is so warm here, we left our green house lid off, &
we put it in our window box, so we can watch them grow! 
We’ll keep you posted on how BIG our sunflowers get!
