Ginger Snap Crafts: diy garden pots {tutorial}

diy garden pots {tutorial}

Oh yah…I have been enjoying the wonderful spring weather this week!
After a very rainy spring break we have had nothing but sunshine this whole week.
I finished up my flower pots & window boxes in the back yard. Yay!
We’ve got the garden planted, and our sunflowers are taking off!
One thing new I wanted to try this year is planting some herbs.

I was inspired by this post at Drops in the Bucket
to make my own {DIY} garden pots for my herbs.
This was super easy!

You’ll need:
flower pots
chalkboard labels & chalk
herbs & dirt

herb pot supplies

First I just applied my chalkboard vinyl labels to my pots.
{For more detailed instructions on how to apply vinyl go here.}

The vinyl came off nice & easy.  Tip: Make sure you smooth out any bubbles.

Then you plant your herbs!

Of course, I’ll probably have to replant
them in a few weeks as they {hopefully!} grow,
but for now I LOVE my little herb garden. Smile

Now just for the fun of it (& since it’s FrIdAy- wahoo!)
I’ll send the first 3 people who comment
on this post a set of 3 chalkboard labels
so you can make your own herb garden, too!
{Make sure I have a way to contact YOU!}

UPDATE:  I had several ask where I got my labels.
You can find them in my etsy shop, here.
