Good morning! Easter week is here. Yay! I love this time of year. We have a chance to really focus on our Savior and all he did for me & you! One of our favorite Easter traditions is sharing the Easter story using our Resurrection Eggs set. I am not the one that made this one up. I made our first set when my oldest was just a little guy when I was serving in the Young Women’s organization at church. We all made a set for our families at one of our activities. We’ve used it every year since. Let me show you how to make your own set. :)

Good morning! Let’s talk family tradition. :) We always have a big Sunday dinner with all the fixings' right after church. Hola! Our family loves to celebrate! We love having a few friends over, making yummy food & spending time together. Annnd we are from Texas….where a little Tex-Mex & Cinco De Mayo fun is a must! Nothing says summertime more to me than an #icecreamfloat! Growing up each summer my dad would play softball, and if he hit a homerun during the game we would drop by the store & pick up the some A&W root beer and ice cream. Then when we got home we would have root beer floats to celebrate! It’s one of my very favorite family traditions, and lucky for us my dad hit a lot of homeruns! ha! :) My dad’s favorite ice cream is butter pecan. So keeping with the “dad” theme, I decided to combine the two to make these yummy Butter Pecan Root Beer Floats.
