Hello! Today I am excited to share one of our very favorite family traditions that we do every single year ~ a Letter to Santa Party. :) My kiddos look forward to this traditon. We make cookies & hot chocolate, write our letters to Santa with their Christmas gift ideas & kick off the holiday season. This year it was made even more special with the all new Hallmark Northpole toys, gifts & party items that can be found exclusively at Walmart right now. So keep reading to see what we did. :)
Usually we do this activity as part of our weekly family home evening as the activity but this year we did it on a Saturday. The big kiddos were out of town so it was just me & the little kids at home. They had such a fun time!
We started out the party by making some holiday sugar cookies!
The rolling cookie cutter from the Hallmark Northpole line worked perfectly! It was great for little hands to use. :)
While our cookies were baking we read some holiday stories. My kiddos loved the Once Upon a Northpole Christmas story book from Hallmark. (In a minute you’ll see the Find Me Santa Snowflake that comes with it!) :)
It was a sweet little story about the magic of Christmas.
Then we played a game with our Magic Snowball from Hallmark.
The Magic Snowball lights up when you throw it! So we played a game where you had to see how many times you could throw the snowball into the bucket in a minute. Whoever could do it the most times won! :)
Then we wrote our letters to Santa. :)
You can print out a letter to Santa to use with your family below. :)
I always send their letters to Santa & get an official North Pole postmark. You can see how I do that right {HERE}. My big kiddos can’t even figure that one out! ha! ;) A party isn’t complete without some party favors. So each of my kiddos got a Find Me Santa Snowflake from Hallmark. You can write their names on these, & they light up & change colors. Pretty neat!
Then it was time to decorate our cookies! :)
They loved using the Sprinkle Bell from Hallmark. Fancy!
Then it was time for some cookies & milk! Yum! :)
I found everything I needed for this party at Walmart. :)
The movie ~ Northpole ~ will be premiering this Saturday on the Hallmark Channel.
