This post is brought to you by Sauder.
Hello! A few months ago I told you about the new piece of furniture I had picked for our sunroom. I loved the clean & simple lines of this piece from Sauder. It really is a versatile piece of furniture that could be used in several different areas in your home. Well, Sauder challenged me to do just that! I’m always up for a challenge! ha! ;) I had fun coming up with two different spots in our home to use this same piece of furniture in. Annnnnnd I actually ended LOVING the last spot! I’ll give you a clue ~ it’s not in our sunroom or the boys’ room. Let’s keep it a surprise for now. :) So keep reading to see what I’m talking about (ha!), and I’ll share some boy’s room storage ideas for you, too!
Before we get to the surprise! Let me show you what I did with this credenza in my boy’s room. It would make an awesome storage space in a boy’s room. I love the two roomy drawers on the bottom to hold games & other things you might want out of sight but still easy to get to. The shelves are nice & roomy! I love having baskets & bins to hold stuff. :) These shelves worked perfectly to hold the bins for trains, cars, balls & puzzles.
The top shelves were perfect for holding books. The shelves are adjustable, so you can make them fit for whatever you need. I love that! :) My boys really wanted to have this credenza in their room buuuuut I had other plans! Sometimes mom wins out! ha! ;)
During all the brainstorming for other ways to use this credenza in our home I had a light bulb moment! You know when you get the best idea ever, and you just know that it was meant to be. ;) Well, here it is! Meet my new craft storage area!
I’ll be sharing all the how-to’s on my new craft storage area in January! I’ll show you how I made the HUGE pegboard that holds soooooo much crafty stuff! The credenza holds even more. I love the bins, huge drawers & shelves. I feel so much more organized. It’s perfect! :)
