Hi everyone!
I am super thrilled to be here sharing this
Custom Art project
created from your child's drawing.
My name is Heather and I blog over at Twin Dragonfly Designs where I share epic craft projects, fabulous recipes, fun sewing tutorials all while raising crazy, adorable twin boys.
My little guys have been developing their very own artistic talents. They love to draw just about everything. Lately it has been monster dolls. Pages and pages of monster dolls.
I really wanted to create a unique way to showcase their artwork.
So the idea of creating custom art from a child's drawing was born.

Supplies needed:
Child's drawing
Canvas
Acrylic paint
Paint brush
Scrap fabric
Mod Podge
Begin by cutting each feature of your child’s drawing out of scrap fabric. Paint the canvas using the acrylic paint in a complementary color.
Place the pieces of scrap fabric on the canvas and Mod Podge them into place one by one.
Be sure to apply Mod Podge to the canvas and the back of the fabric to create a smooth, bubble free surface.
Paint Mod Podge over the entire canvas to seal the scrap fabric image.
When dry, you are left with a super cute, personalized piece of custom art.
This would make a great gift for grandparents or a teacher.
It would also be fun to complete this project together with older children.
