Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Bites from Nessa Makes {contributor}

Hi! I am Vanessa from NessaMakes.com and I am so excited to be sharing a yummy recipe with you here on Ginger Snap Crafts!

It has been a recent goal of mine to make my own pretzels since I am practically obsessed with the things. I love a warm soft pretzel and I thought they would be super hard to make-- but surprisingly they are not! I made these Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Bites, and they actually taste like pretzels. I am amazed. Ha!

13 Tips on Organization & Happiness from Michelle Lea Designs {contributor}

13tipsorganization

Hello! I'm Michelle from Michelle Lea Designs. A Southern girl and military wife who loves to blog about photography, organizing, design, crafts and the crazy little adventures of our family of 5! I am so honored and excited to be visiting on Ginger's fabulous blog!

Today, I am sharing some tips on being organized. Being organized isn't only for the type A personality, meticulous individuals. I am creative and chaotic at times, but love a clean and neat space... and organization. I think I'm always striving to be more organized, like most people. You can ask my husband, there are times that he will open my purse and it is perfectly in order and then there are times that it looks like a tornado hit. I feel like the key to being organized is to work on it a little at a time and please give yourself a break. The house is going to be insane at times, you're going to forget to write in your planner some days or weeks and at some point you may even have to run through the drive through cause you didn't plan a thing for dinner. The world will keep spinning and you'll get it all back on track. No big deal, you've got this!

So here we go...

Birthday Number Photo Prop from It Happens in a Blink {contributor}

Hi, Ginger Snap Craft Readers! I'm Melanie, and I blog over at It Happens in a Blink. Ginger's blog is one of the first ones that I began reading when I started blogging, so I am super excited to be here sharing a project today. Over at my blog I focus on recipes, crafts, and DIY projects that are easy and maximize the time of busy moms. As a mom of preschooler and a set of triplets, I'm limited on time and energy. I know that there are too many other moms out there who feel the same way. Even though I am a mother, I still want to fuel my creative side, and I want to encourage other ladies to do the same. To save time and money, I typically take my own photos of my children. But photo props can be expensive. For the triplets first birthday, I made a few fast photo props for their photo session. You may be surprised at how inexpensive {and ridiculously easy} this large Birthday Number Photo Prop is!

Sewing with Kids…Easy Sew Owls from Maddie Moes {contributor}

Hi! I'm Janice from Maddie Moes and am so delighted to be with Ginger, here, on her team of contributors.

I am very much a seamstress in progress and have loved learning some new skills over the last few years. More than this though, one of the loveliest parts of sewing has been sharing it with my girls.  They have loved creating their own little unique pieces and watching how they have picked up the basic skills has been so amazing.

This wee owl has been one of their favourite projects…so much so that my eldest has begun making them for her friends!!

The Secret to Hosting a Stress-Free Kids Birthday Party from A Thrifter in Disguise {contributor}

Hi, I'm Kristen! I'm visiting today from A Thrifter in Disguise where I blog about fun ways to save money without sacrificing style. I'm so honored Ginger invited me to the contributor team to share some ideas for kids parties. And it's timely, too, because we just hosted our 4-year old's party last month. But fun as it was, it also reminded me that throwing a party isn't easy, and you need to put in a lot of work to ensure it goes off "without a hitch." So today I thought I'd share some strategies I've developed to plan and throw a kids birthday party {without losing your mind}!

Family Love Valentine Pillow Tutorial from Jedi Craft Girl {contributor}

Hi!  I'm Amanda from Jedi Craft Girl, and I am thrilled to be here
at Ginger Snap Crafts sharing my tutorial for this Valentine's Day Pillow
What I love about this pillow is at first glance it looks like a simple heart pillow.
But if you look closely, there is a zipper in the heart,
and there are little hearts tucked inside.

Toddler Baby Doll Carrier from The Crazy Tailor {contributor}

Hi there! I'm Sarah, a newbie blogger over at The Crazy Tailor, and I'm so excited to be a guest blogger here at Ginger Snap Crafts! I'm a SAHM who loves crafting, cooking and sewing and especially sewing for my little munchkins! Pardon my photos...I sew at night when the kiddos are sleeping, so I don't get great light. At all. But I make up for it when my munchkins are awake! They are pretty used to seeing my camera come out! My daughter is such a little mommy. Always feeding, burping, carrying her dolly, and just lately, she's been trying to stuff dolly down her shirt! When I asked her about that, she said she was trying to carry her dolly. Got me thinking...I use a mei tai for wearing my little boy and so I asked her if she would like a baby carrier. YES. In pink please. Alrighty then!

How to Sew a Bow from I Seam Stressed {contributor}

Hi there! I'm Tasha and I can usually be found over at I Seam Stressed, a blog showcasing my passion for sewing. I'm a mom of two, so most of the sewing I do is for my kids. Occasionally I'll get a wild hair and sew something for myself or my home, but sewing for children is what I find most rewarding.

Today I'm sharing a tutorial for a quick, basic sewing project that can be used in nearly any craft medium: BOWS! This might sound silly, but I've always been interested in the endless styles, fabrics, and scale of bows. No two bows are alike! After playing around with a few different dimensions, I think I've found my perfect bow. Instead of making you scroll through countless step-by-step photos, I've put together a short video tutorial. If you need more time with any step, just pause the video!

It's a place that brings me happiness and I hope you'll come by so it can do the same for you! Ginger is one of my favorite people in the world (I even got to meet her earlier this year- I just love this awesome lady!) and I'm so honored that she chose me to share a kids idea with you today!
