Today I’d love to show you how to make this vintage Be Mine mason jar lid garland. It is super easy, and turned out so cute! I was inspired by this adorable canning lid garland from my good friend, Tonia from The Gunny Sack. I love how she made hers. You’ll have to pop over {HERE} to see how she put wire in her lids….brilliant!
For this project you’ll need: rope or twine, scrapbook paper, scallop punch, PSA Essential stamp body & alignment tool, PSA Essentials Romance peel & stick alphabet stamps, glue dots, ribbon & daisy cut mason jar lids
I love these vintage looking alphabet peel & stick stamps from PSA Essentials!
First you’ll get your scrapbook paper & stamp the letters BE MINE on them.
Then you’ll punch out each letter with your scallop paper punch.
You’ll thread your twine or rope through your lids. TIP: Make sure you thread your rope through the top not the middle so your garland so it will hang properly. I’m speaking from experience here….ha! ;)
Then you’ll attach your circles to the lids with glue dots.
Then you’ll tie some matching ribbon on each end of your garland.
I think it turned out really, really cute! I’m kind of loving that it’s not the traditional Valentine’s colors. :)
I thought I’d let you know about this ah-mazing PSA Essentials giveaway!
