top twelve projects of 2012 #bestof2012

I love, love, love looking at everyone’s top project posts! Isn’t it fun to look back & see how far you’ve come & what you’ve accomplished in one short year? For fun you can check out my top ten of 2011 post {here}. I’ve come a long way! ha! ;)

When I looked through the most viewed projects from this past year I noticed a few things.  Five of these projects were guest post I did on another blog first & three were from sponsored post! So I guess I must work better under pressure! ha! A couple of them involved fun things I did with my kiddos.  Annnd one post went crazy on Pinterest for something that wasn’t really part of the project. {You’ll see what I’m talking about in a minute!}

Here we go!  In no certain order….my top 12 post of 2012~

This chore chart was first seen on Lil’ Luna.
{In 2012 I was lucky enough to be a craft contributor there.}

I wasn’t originally planning on putting this on the blog…
but seriously that picture of my wild Cole is priceless!

We have been making these for years!
They are so fun & easy to make.

I have loved working with Lifestyle Crafts throughout 2012.
It has been an honor!  I was excited to see one of my
Lifestyle Craft projects as one of my most viewed post.

homemade play dough
This recipe is awesome…you should try it out!

diy pencil & pen holders
I starting working with Collective Bias in 2012.
They have been amazing & have opened so many doors for my blog.
I made these pen & pencil holders in one of my first post
for them about organizing your home office for tax time!
{Eek!  It’s almost that time again!}

LDS mission bank
My son has been busy filling his mission bank this year,
especially since the age to serve a LDS mission was lowered to 18! ;)

burlap wreath with hello door vinyl
This is the project that went kind of crazy on Pinterest
but not for the wreath!  The hello vinyl was a hit!
My etsy shop was overwhelmed with orders & because of that
I decided to close my shop & focus solely on my craft blog.
{Don’t worry you can still order the hello vinyl at Create it. Go!} :)

diy canvas prints
This a great way to get the canvas look for really cheap. ;)

mason jar luminaries
I did these luminaries for a post for Blueprint Social & Martha Stewart.
I ended up demonstrating these on the news! Yikes!
Who would of thought I’d be famous for mason jars & salt??!! ;)

diy cupcake stand
This was another project for Blueprint Social & Plaid.
I LOVE this cupcake stand.  We use it all the time!

adorable burp cloths
This was a guest post on another blog back in 2011.
{I believe it was originally on The 36th Avenue.}
I finally posted it on my blog in January 2012.
If I had known it would be so popular I would of posted it sooner. ha! :)
These are sooooo easy to make & turn out really cute.

has been viewed over 400,000+ times! Crazy!
