Take it away, Heather!I run my own business, Honu Naturals, LLC. I started my business back in 2009 as a small side business to my full-time teaching job. I had been researching alternatives to commercial skin care products and making a few things for friends and family. A friend gave me a natural soap making book and I was hooked! I started researching and making soap and I just couldn't get enough. I decided to make a business out of it. I have expanded from making just soaps to also making lotions, balms, and scrubs. I do make everything myself and I put a lot of thought into everything I make. I am still a full-time teacher. I teach middle school Science and I love it. I am also a mother of a toddler and he demands a lot of my time, but I do a pretty good job juggling it all.
