This post is brought to you by Mod Podge Rocks. #modpodgerocks
Hello! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! Ours was great….we actually had NOTHING on our schedule! Yay! So we were able to do a bunch of work on our addition. The taping & floating are taking a lot longer than expected but we are getting there. Yay! ;) Today I am excited to show you a brand new product from my friend, Amy at Mod Podge Rocks & Plaid ~ Mod Podge Peel & Stick Stencils. These stencils are awesome, & they are so easy & fun to use! So keep reading to see how to use them, & I have a stencil to giveaway to one of you! Yay! :)
Here’s a peek at all of the fun new stencil designs! So cool! These stencils can be found at Michaels stores right now. :)
I decided to try out the polka dot stencil. I just have a thing for polka dots, I guess! ha! ;)
For this project you’ll need:
polka dotted Mod Podge Peel & Stick Stencil
Mod Podge Podgeable Glitter
Mod Podge Spouncers
tags (I bought these from Pick Your Plum.)
dry paint brush
The back of the stenciling package will tell you exactly how to do it but I will show you, too! ha! ;) First you’ll place your stencil on top of the tag. These stencils are slightly sticky so it makes it so easy to keep your stencil in place. They are also reusable. So you can use them over & over again. Just clean them between use with cool water, air dry & keep them on the backing paper when you’re not using them.
Next you’ll get your Mod Podge out. ;)
Using your spouncer you’ll put a thin layer of Mod Podge over your stencil.
Then you’ll remove your stencil leaving the Mod Podge polka dots on your tag. Working quickly before the Mod Podge dries, sprinkle your glitter over the Mod Podge. Shake most of the glitter off, & then let dry.
Once the Mod Podge is dry you can use a dry paint brush to carefully brush away any excess glitter.
Attach some twine, & you’ll have some cute, cute, cute hanging tags! :) You can find out more about these new Mod Podge Peel & Stick Stencils {HERE}.
Now how would YOU like to win one of these stencils to try out for yourself? Enter in the form below. Winner must be a U.S. resident. Winner’s stencil design will be chosen at random. Winner will be emailed & have 24 hours to respond. Good luck! :)
