Now I have a quick tutorial showing YOU how I used the print & cut feature to make these cute nautical party favor boxes.
For this project you’ll need:
Silhouette printable adhesive kraft paper
white cardstock
this image from the Silhouette online store
kraft boxes
ribbon
printer & ink
Silhouette machine
Step one: You’ll open up the image using your Silhouette software. TIP: I sized my “cutting”area to 8 1/2 x 11 ~ the same size as my kraft paper. Then size the image to the size you need for your project. Then you’ll push the “registration marks” button. (See arrow below.) Registration marks will now show up on your design.
Step two: Send the image to your printer. Notice how the registration marks show up when you print it out. :)
Step three: Then you’ll put your paper on a cutting mat, and then you’ll feed it into your Silhouette.
Step four: Keep your registration marks setting on from earlier, & when you send this to cut on your Silhouette your machine will first “read” the registration marks. Once they are successfully “read” your Silhouette will begin to cut.
After it is finished cutting you will have perfectly cut stickers! Isn’t that amazing? ;)
Step five: Then you’ll just stick the stickers to your kraft boxes, assemble, fill with goodies & tie with a piece of ribbon.
