This post is brought to you by We R Memory Keepers.
Hello! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! We did a bunch of stuff, but I’m not sure how much we actually got done! ha! ;) Next week is spring break! Yay! So maybe we will get lots of projects checked off of our list then. I did have the chance to play around with my We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board though! Yay! :) This is a fun little crafting tool that can make dozens of different size envelopes, and I found out that you also make other things with your punch board including these tiny gift boxes! So keep reading to see how I did it! :)
For this project you will need a few things:
We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board
scrapbook paper (I used this paper.)
We R Memory Keepers Trim & Score Board
twine
hole punch
paper adhesive or glue stick
scissors
You’ll also need to watch this video. All the measurements & detailed instructions can be found there. So before you make these check that out first! :) I’ll give you a brief tutorial so you can get the idea though. ;)
First you’ll cut your paper into a 6 inch square. So with 1 12x12 inch piece of scrapbook paper you can make 4 boxes!
Using your envelope punch board you will score & punch your paper to look like this. The video comes in really hand for this step! ;)
Then you’ll round the corners of your paper with the handy double punch on your envelope punch board. Pretty cool!
You’ll fold your box on all of the scored lines & then make 4 cuts to make 4 flaps. (See the arrow.) Fold up each side, & then glue the flaps into place to form your box.
Then I used a hole punch to make 4 holes ~ one on each flap.
Then I tied a piece of twine loosely through each hole & tied with a bow.
These would make perfect party favor boxes or a cute gift box for a pair of earrings! I just loved how they turned out, and I couldn’t resist making a bunch of them at once. They were so quick & easy to make. :)
