This post is brought to you by DecoArt.
Just popping in to share a quick last minute DIY 4th of July shorts tutorial, AND I have a fun giveaway from DecoArt so you could make these & lots more. Yay! So keep reading! :)
A few weeks ago I was out shopping with my girls for some summer clothes, and my 6 year old spotted these shorts:
Of course, she wanted them right then! Buuuut I told her I bet we could make a pair! :) We had just gone through their school clothes, & I had a huge bag of jeans that were too short or had holes in their knees in our garage. So when we got home I pulled out an old pair, cut them into shorts & then we got to work! :)
I used DecoArt SoSoft fabric paint, a stencil we already had & a foam brush to make ours.
I love the DecoArt SoSoft Fabric paint! It dries nice & flexible, not stiff like some paints can be!
I used the foam brush to make the stripes. This was a super fast project. I bet it only took us about 10 minutes to finish our shorts. This would be a great project for the kiddos to work on. :)
All done! :)
My daughter LOVES her “new” shorts! :)
Now it is time for one of YOU to have the
chance to win some fabulous DecoArt products! :)
Enter in the form below! Good luck!
Giveaway ends Friday. So hurry! :)
