Ginger Snap Crafts: 4th of July Face Painting with People Paint #DecoArt

4th of July Face Painting with People Paint #DecoArt

The post is brought to you by DecoArt.

Our family just tried out People Paint by DecoArt for the first time. I love these body markers! They are so awesome! They can be used for birthday parties, holidays, events & more! They are so much easier to apply than the usual brush & paint. They were so fun to use, too. You can get some amazing detail with these markers. 4th of July is just around the corner, so we decided to have a little 4th of July fun with our People Paint. :)

People Paint comes in so many colors but for this face painting activity we used the red, white & blue People Paint, of course! :) To get your marker ready you just shake, press down, hold for 5 seconds and then release.  Applying the People Paint was super easy with the fine tip point. You simply draw on your design.

Here’s how I made an American Flag on my daughter’s face:

The People Paint dries really quickly, so it was easy to draw over another color like I did with the white dots on the blue background.  The paint is opaque, too! So the coverage was great.

I also painted some rockets, fireworks & a USA on their cheeks! Too cute!

Now as a mom this a big thing for me…the paint doesn’t rub off when you touch it! Isn’t that awesome!!?? It does come off very easily with soap & water. Both of those things are perfect! Yay! :)

These body markers are also non-toxic & non-staining! Awesome!

My kiddos are already giving me request for some more face painting! ha! Some ideas they have are a puppy dog, a butterfly & a heart. :)
