Ginger Snap Crafts: Peanut Butter Fudge {recipe}

Peanut Butter Fudge {recipe}

Hello! It’s Friday! Yay! Do you have any big plans for the weekend? Tonight we are making our own “drive in” in the backyard, and we are going to watch the Lego Movie. Have you seen it? The kiddos are so excited! :) Annnnd I am so excited to be sharing a yummy recipe with all of YOU this morning ~ peanut butter fudge! :) We are huge peanut butter fans at our house, and this recipe is one of our favorites. My teenage son can’t get enough of these. ha! Yum! So keep reading to see how to make these! ;)

For this recipe you will need:

1 cup butter
4 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 cup of milk
1 1/2 cups peanut butter, smooth
2 tsp vanilla
7 cups powdered sugar
1 bag peanut butter chips

This recipe is based on a recipe that I found over at AllRecipes.com

First you'll melt the butter on the stove on medium heat. Then you'll stir in the milk & brown sugar until sugar is dissolved. Bring that mixture to a boil & boil for about 2 minutes. Stir frequently so your milk will not burn.

Remove from the heat & stir in both the peanut butter & the vanilla. Then you'll pour the mixture over your powdered sugar in a large metal mixing bowl. Be careful it will be hot! Then you'll beat until smooth. Pour into a 9x13 baking dish. Then you'll sprinkle an entire bag of peanut butter chips over the top & gently pressed them down into the fudge with a large spoon. Chill in the refrigerator until firm, & then cut into squares. Enjoy! :)
