Hello! Summer time is finally here for my kiddos! Yay! The last day of school was yesterday. :) My kiddos play so hard during the summer. They are always busy doing something ~ swimming, jumping on the trampoline, running in the sprinklers, playing outside, going to the park & everything in between. All that activity builds up a HUGE appetite. So I love having a variety of nutritious summer snack ideas on hand. Summer goodies that are easy to prepare, good for them & most of all delicious. ;) If your kiddos are like mine & are always looking for a snack (ha!) then keep reading! I’m sharing some of our favorites. :)

 

 

Outshine Fruit Bars & Outshine Fruit & Veggie Bars are some of our favorites. They are cold, yummy & make a great snack. Best of all they are made with real fruit or fruit juice. My favorite are the Creamy Coconut Fruit Bars. They are awesome! I grabbed some Tangerine & Carrot ones this week as well. My kiddos couldn’t even tell that there were carrots in them. It’s a great way to get a serving of vegetables into your kiddos. They'll never know. haha! ;)

These really hit the spot after some jumping on the trampoline in the sprinklers ~ as you can tell! haha! ;)

Another favorite snack idea that my kiddos love are Hot Pockets. We found this HUGE box of Hot Pockets are Walmart in the freezer section.

My kiddos love these because they taste so good. They really have a thing for anything with pepperoni in it or on it! Pepperonis make everything taste even better, right? ha! ;)

I love these because they are a good source of protein, have premium meat & lots of real cheese. They are awesome for refueling them when they are hungry.

Then once they are done snacking…..it’s back to playing. Oh how we love summertime! :)
