pizza with country crock

I found this recipe in the The Clare Crespo Cookbook
which is full of fun, step-by-step recipes that your family will love.
{You can download it for free HERE.}
You’ll find lots of fun recipes made with veggies & Country Crock.
Like bear claws (potatoes), Mt. Veggie Volcanoes (sweet potatoes),
Pasta Full of Posies (bell peppers) & Beautiful Butterflies (baby carrots).
I decided to try out the Pizza Flag.  My kiddos LOVE pizza! Smile

pizza recipe

For our pizza I used a pizza crust mix, pizza sauce, string cheese sticks,
some grated mozzarella cheese & sliced tomatoes.
For my flag area I cooked some spinach leaves
in Country Crock until the leaves wilted (about 2 minutes),
& then I put them on my pizza in the top corner.
Then for my “stars” I just cut a piece of string cheese into tiny circles.
You can find the whole step by step recipe in the Clare Crespo cookbook.
FYI: The recipe didn’t call for it but I did
add a row of pepperonis underneath the tomatoes.
{Hey…around here you’ve got to have some pepperonis on your pizza! Winking smile}
