This post is brought to you by FloraCraft® Make It: Fun®. I am so excited to be a part of the Make It Fun® Team this year. #makeitfuncrafts
Good morning! It’s time for another fun Make It: Fun® challenge. Yay! This month’s challenge was outdoor decor. I was so excited to receive a huge box full of FloraCraft® Make It: Fun® Foam Sheets to use for this challenge. You have so many possibilities with these foam sheets. (Follow the #makeitfuncrafts hashtag to see more!) This time of year (when the weather is so nice) is it fun to host an outdoor party. So I decided to make this Simple Party Backdrop using 2 of these foam sheets. I love that you can personalize these to match any party theme. Plus it is so easy to make! So keep reading to see how I did it! :)
Supplies:
2 FloraCraft® Make It:Fun® Foam Sheets (15/16″ thick & 7/16” inch)
1/2 yard of your favorite fabric
hot glue gun & glue sticks
First, I starting wrapping the larger foam sheet with the fabric.
I used the hot glue gun to secure it to my foam sheet.
Then I hot glued the thinner sheet of foam on the back to give it a finished look.
This foam backdrop also doubles as a “cork” board. You can pin a pennant banner on it like I did. You could also pin pictures of the birthday boy or girl or paper flowers, felt bows, paper pinwheels….whatever! Get creative! :)
