Good morning! Eek! I am so excited about today! If you know me at all, you know that I am a little bit obsessed with all things vinyl! I love, love, love vinyl! You can use it in so many ways. I love cutting mine with my Silhouette. If you don’t have a Silhouette or Cricut you can still use vinyl ~ craft punches & scissors work just as well. ;) Today I am excited to team up with some of my favorite bloggers & Expressions Vinyl to bring you tons of vinyl projects & ideas. Yay! I’ll have links to everyone’s projects at the end of this post plus links to some of my favorite vinyl projects that I’ve shared over the years. First, I want to show you how I made these cute Glow in the Dark Lightning Bug Jars. These little jars are so perfect for summer. Annnd when you let your cute little lightning bugs go…your jar will keep on glowing. So keep reading to see how to make them! :)
Supplies:
jars (I found these in the dollar spot at Target.)
glow in the dark vinyl lettering
black vinyl lettering
a Silhouette

First, you will cut out your vinyl lettering. The glow in the dark vinyl is a little bit thicker than normal vinyl. So you will need to adjust your settings. I ended up using the stencil setting for mine. Be sure to do a test cut to make sure that will work for you.
Then all that is left is to apply your vinyl. You can see a detailed how to cut & apply vinyl tutorial right {HERE}.
My daughter gave me the idea to put a lightning bug inside the jar. Cute!
Now all we have to do is wait for it to get dark, & then watch them glow!
Of course, then we will have to go on a real lightning bug hunt, too! ha!
Now check out TONS of other fun vinyl ideas!!! :)
Here’s some of my favorite vinyl projects I’ve shared on this blog! :)
