This post is brought to you by Offray.
Hello! I love easy summer crafts, and this one fits the bill perfectly! Today I’d love to show you How to Make a Windsock with just a few supplies & tons of fun, colorful ribbon from Offray. This windsock would make a great addition to a little girl’s room or at a summer get together or make a bunch & hang them at your next party. They can be personalized with so many color combinations & are so quick to put together. So let’s get started!
Supplies:
large tin can
spray paint
Offray 1 & 1/2 inch Grosgrain Ribbon (red, torrid orange, maize, lemon grass, electric blue, regal purple & royal orchid)
hot glue gun & glue
bottle opener
vinyl lettering (optional)
First, you’ll wash out & then cut off both ends of a large tin can. Then spray paint the can your favorite color. I chose orange!
After the paint dried. I added some vinyl lettering to mine. You can see a how to cut & apply vinyl lettering tutorial right {HERE}. If you don’t have a vinyl cutter you could paint a design on your can ~ stripes, polka dots or chevron or add stickers even glitter. Get creative! :)
Next poke two holes on opposite sides of your can with a bottle opener & tie on a ribbon handle.
Then you’ll use a hot glue gun to attach your ribbon streamers.
Just keep adding ribbon until you go all the way around your can.
Now the only thing left to do is hang up you pretty windsock & enjoy! ;)
