Hello! Good morning! One of the most important meals of the day is breakfast. Don’t you think? ;) One of our favorite family traditions is making a huge breakfast on Saturday mornings with sweet rolls, 100% Florida orange juice, milk, eggs, fruit & hash browns. It’s the one morning of the week that we have extra time to sit down & all eat together. I love spending time with my family! Buuut I really don’t like to spend a ton of time in the kitchen. So I am always looking for easy breakfast ideas. Annnnd this yummy Caramel Pecan Monkey Bread fits the bill perfectly! It’s so easy to put together. Yet it looks so fancy! ha! It would be great as part of a big family breakfast or as part of a breakfast brunch. So keep reading to get the recipe!

Ingredients
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 stick butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 package cream cheese (8 oz.)
Pepperidge Farm Pecan Caramel Sweet Rolls (2 cans)
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans (plus the pecans that come with your sweet rolls)
{inspired by this recipe}
Preheat the oven to 350° F. Spray a bundt pan with nonstick cooking spray. Mix the sugar and cinnamon together in a bowl. Set aside. In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over low heat, stirring well; set aside. Now it’s time to start layering. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of the nuts into the bottom of the bundt pan.
Then cut the cream cheese into about 20 equal pieces. Unroll the sweet rolls & cut into smaller strips. Place a cube of cream cheese in the center of each piece.
Then wrap & seal the sweet roll around the cream cheese by pinching the edges together with your fingers. Continue until finished making all of the bundles.
Place half of the prepared sweet roll cream cheese bundles in the bottom of your pan.
Sprinkle the sweet roll bundles with the cinnamon & sugar mixture, pour half of the melted butter mixture over the sweet rolls, and sprinkle on a 1/2 cup of pecans on top. Top with one package of caramel icing (that comes with the sweet rolls).
Then do it all over again! Layer the remaining sweet roll cream cheese bundles on top, sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon & sugar, pour the remaining butter mixture over the rolls, sprinkle with the remaining nuts & drizzle with the last package of caramel.
Bake for about 30 minutes (watching closely). I ended up cooking mine just a little bit longer than that. You’ll know it is done when the sweet rolls have a slight golden brown look. Remove from the oven and cool for 10 minutes. Place a plate on top and flip it over. Yum!
This makes a perfect addition to a family breakfast served with 100% Florida Orange Juice, eggs, sausage & fruit.
I found everything I needed to make this breakfast at Walmart.
