Hello! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! We had a little incident with our front door! haha! Buuuut I’m happy to say that we now have a front door again. Yay! So it all worked out. ;) It’s the 2nd Monday of the month which means it time for another Silhouette Challenge. Yay! This month the theme is flowers. At the end of this post I’ll have links to almost 30 different flower projects made by some of your favorite bloggers & their Silhouettes. One of my favorite things to make with my Silhouette are the 3D boxes. They are perfect for gift giving. Today I’m going to show you how I made these sweet little flower kraft boxes. So keep reading! :)
For this project you’ll need a few supplies:
kraft paper
a Silhouette
twine
buttons
hot glue & glue gun
scissors
Elmer’s X-TREME glue stick
wrapped chocolate candy
images from the Silhouette online store {download here, here & here}
trim & scoring board & scoring tool (optional)*
*You can get 20% off this trim & scoring board when you use the code GINGER & shop here.
First you’ll cut out your boxes using your Silhouette. I used my Portrait. Tip: If you score the lines on your boxes to make them a whole lot easier to fold. ;)
Then using your glue stick glue each tab until your box starts to take shape.
Then fill your boxes with some yummy candy….
Add a paper flower & some cute buttons & twine…
Now you have a cute gift to give or party favor at your next party. Too cute! :)
My kiddos took these for teacher appreciation last week. :)
