We have used these to hang on the tree, as gift tags & to give to neighbors & friends. So keep reading to see how to make these cute tree ornaments, & don’t forget to enter the giveaway at the end of this post. :)

Americana Multi-Surface Satin Paint in Turf Green
*Just about all of these products can be found at your local Michaels store. :)
First you’ll paint your popsicle sticks with the turf green Americana Mult- Surface Satin paint. I love this paint because it can be used on so many surfaces. It’s definitely my go to paint! ;) After I painted the sticks I used hot glue to turn them into a triangle.
Then I used a punch to make yellow stars out of textured scrapbook paper. I also punched out stars in chipboard. I glued them together with a glue stick to make them super sturdy. Then I glued the star on top of the tree.
I did the same thing for the trunk ~ a piece of brown striped scrapbook paper & some chipboard glued together. Then I hot glued the trunk to the back of the tree.
Then I flipped my tree over, and it looked like this.
Next I glued some cute buttons all over my tree for the “ornaments”.
Then the last thing to do is to hot glue a hook on the back of the ornament.
Now isn’t that just the sweetest ornament you’ve ever seen? ha! ;)
Do you like to make homemade ornaments with your family? I’d love to hear your ideas. :)
