Good morning! I’m a few days late on mentioning this but better late than never, right? haha! Anyways, each year my church does a special Light the World campaign centered around sharing the love of Jesus Christ. They produce a calendar with something to do everyday during the month of December. It’s fun to do individually or as a family. This year they’ve added Light the World with Love which is just what this world needs right now ~ more love. You can download the calendar and more right here. I teach a primary class at church which is the Sunday School for the kiddos. I made these Light the World Ornaments to hand out to my kiddos this Sunday along with a Light the World calendar. I thought they could hang the ornament on the tree as a reminder to do their light the world service each day. Let me show you how I made them. :)

Hello there! Christmas is almost here! I’m an after Thanksgiving Christmas decorator. How about you? I am starting to think about it though! One of my favorite ways to decorate our tree is with homemade ornaments. I like getting the kiddos involved, and then I really love getting those ornaments out each year. Oh the memories! Good morning! At our house we have two Christmas trees. One is the fancy one with all the matching ornaments & theme. (This year our theme for that tree is “Let it Snow”.) Annnnnd then we have another tree that is packed full of all of my kiddos homemade ornaments. Guess which tree I love the best? ;) Yep, the homemade ornament tree. ha! I love all the memories each ornament brings & the stories we retell year after year. Each year we try to add a few more ornaments to the collection. Hello! Happy Friday! I have been working on a ton of projects & posts this week. I have lots of Christmas fun in the works. ;) I’m just not ready to share quite yet so I decided to do a quick round up of some of my favorite homemade Christmas ornaments that I’ve made over the last several years.
