This post is brought to you by Expressions Vinyl.
Good morning! I’m just popping in really quick to let you know about a fun Ornament Challenge with Expressions Vinyl. They have assembled a great group of bloggers, & we were challenged to come up with a fun ornament using their vinyl holiday pack. We are having a fun contest & giveaway over on the Expressions Vinyl blog. You’ll have to hop over there to check that out & vote. You can do that {HERE}. Buuuut first check out these fun Snowflake Ornaments that I made. Let’s get started!
For this project you will need:
Expressions Vinyl Holiday Pack
wood coasters (I found these at Target in the Dollar Spot.)
Silhouette
these snowflake cut files (here, here & here)
drill
twine
I thought these coasters would be perfect to make ornaments with. I loved the gold around the edges.
I sized the snowflakes to fit my ornaments & then sent it to my Silhouette to cut out.
You can find a more detailed tutorial on how to cut, weed & apply vinyl right {HERE}.
Then I applied my vinyl to each one.
Next I used a drill to drill a small hole at the top of my ornament.
Then I threaded some twine through the hole to make a hanger. All done!
Don’t forget to pop over to Expressions Vinyl to check out all the other ornaments.
It’s a contest, so please vote for mine #17. :)
Let me know if you like to make homemade ornaments in the comments below. :)
Thank you so much stopping by my blog!
If this is your first time visiting, I’d love to keep in touch.
