Hello! Spring is in the air. Warmer weather is on it’s way! Yay! It’s the perfect time for some frozen treats! Last week I was shopping at Walmart, and I spotted the all new EDY's® Frozen Custard! EDY's® Frozen Custard comes in Old Fashioned Vanilla, Strawberry Shortcake, Chocolate Malt, Mint Cookies N' Cream, and Peanut Butter Pie! Yum! So I picked up several different varieties. I wanted to surprise my kiddos with a Frozen Custard Sundae Bar after school. I had so much fun setting it up, and the kiddos loved the fun surprise when they got home. So keep reading to see how easy this was to put together. :)
The perfect frozen custard bar has to start with old fashioned vanilla. EDY's® Frozen Custard Old Fashioned Vanilla is perfect. It is extra thick & creamy. You might call it ice cream’s creamier cousin. ;)
It still has that sweet vanilla flavor we all love from EDY'S® ice cream but in their new frozen custard. It’s made with fresh milk & has no artificial colors or flavors. It is rich & creamy good!
For my kiddos I decided to have a little fun! I had all the fixings to make Dirt & Worm Sundaes. Yes, I said dirt & worms! ha! I promise it’s good. ;) All you need is EDY's® Frozen Custard Old Fashioned Vanilla, crushed cookies (dirt!) and gummy worms.
Put it all together, & you have a yummy Dirt & Worms Sundae!
At our EDY's® Frozen Custard Bar I also had some other frozen custard varieties.
My favorite is the new EDY's® Frozen Custard Strawberry Shortcake. It’s extra thick and creamy just like the old fashioned vanilla is! Yum! :)
The Strawberry Shortcake custard is made with sweet cream frozen custard with real shortcake pieces inside and a creamy strawberry swirl. It is also made with fresh milk & has no artificial colors or flavors. It’s rich, creamy & delicious. It’s the perfect frozen treat all by itself. No worms needed! ha! :)
Remember you can buy EDY's® Frozen Custard at Walmart in the frozen section. At ours it was right above the EDY's® Ice Cream.
