This post is brought to you by Canvas Corp Brands.
Hello! Happy Valentine’s Day! Annnnd boy do I have some loveliness today! ;) Today Canvas Corp Brand is introducing their Creative Crew for 2015. Annnnd guess who is on the team? Me! I am so excited to be working with them throughout this year. To introduce the team Canvas Corp Brands challenged each member of the crew to a 4x4 Challenge. Eek! So fun! We were each given a tiny 4x4 canvas, & then we were asked to create a canvas that represented us & our design style. So here is my DIY Mini Canvas. So keep reading to see how I put it all together. :)
Buuuut before we get to all of of that I thought I’d share a little bit about my visit to Canvas Corp Brands headquarters back in December. It was amazing! I have never been behind the scenes before. I could of stayed for days! So many craft supplies!
I had so much fun learning about Canvas Corp Brands. :) Canvas Corp Brands is based out of Springdale, Arkansas (right down the road from me!). They manufacture and distribute a line of craft, scrapbooking and home decor basics under the brands Canvas Home Basics, 7Gypsies & Tattered Angels. You can find their products online & in just about any major craft store. You can also find them on facebook, their blog, their site & Pinterest. So don’t be shy! :)
Now on to the 4x4 Challenge. #4x4Challenge You can see all of the canvases right {HERE}. Make sure you vote for your favorite. :)
Here’s what you need to do to recreate my canvas. :)
Supplies:
4x4 mini canvas
black & white mini dot paper
spray adhesive
paper trimmer
ribbon
vinyl lettering
First you will trim your picture down to 4” x 4” using a paper trimmer.
Then I cut four 1/2 inch by 4 inch strips of scrapbook paper.
Then I used some spray adhesive to attach a strip of paper on each side of my canvas.
Using the same adhesive I attached my picture, & then I applied my “love” vinyl.
Then I tied a polka dot ribbon around one side. Too cute! :)
