Hello! How are you? Are you ready for the week to begin? I’m kind of wishing the weekend would last just a little bit longer! Ours was perfect. :) Not long ago I received a box of heads in the mail! Yes, heads! It was a fun box from FloraCraft®, & my box was full of some fun craft supplies, too. It also came with a crafty challenge to make something out of a head or two. Annnd I’d get extra points (ha!) if it wasn’t Halloween related! Hmmmmm…..what to do!??! It didn’t take me too long to come up with this modern clippie holder to organize all of my girls clippies & hair bows. My youngest daughter loves this! So keep reading to see how I made it. :)

Hello! I am so excited about today’s post! It’s a little bit different than the usual crafty post or yummy recipe but it is oh so important. I am so excited to be a part of the I am Brave and Beautiful movement. A movement that is sweeping the globe. Colbie Caillat started it with her recent song and video called TRY. My blogging friend Megan of Brassy Apple wanted to push this movement along and invited women from all over to share what they looked like without make up, and I joined in!! Eek!! Hello! It’s Friday! Do you have any big plans for the weekend? We are busy with the usual fall things like football & soccer games. I’m also hoping to sneak in a few projects in there, too! ha! ;) I love fall. There’s always so much fun to be had. A few week’s ago I was shopping at Walmart, & I spotted a brand new low calorie popcorn called Skinnygirl Popcorn. Don’t you just love the name? ;) I was so excited! If you know how much I love snacking on popcorn you’ll understand my excitement. :) I’ve been looking for some snacking choices with better ingredients, & I love, love popcorn. So it’s a perfect match! In a few week’s I’ll be hosting a girls night. I wanted to come up with a yummy snack to serve. I also wanted a skinnier version (of course!), & this popcorn is perfect! Choosing the Right Rug Pad

Hello! How are you? Awesome, I hope! If you have followed me for a little while (especially on instagram) you know that we recently added on to our house. It was quite the undertaking! We did all the work ourselves, & it took us a year almost to the day! In June we passed the final inspection. Boy! What a relief that was! We still have a few landscaping projects to finish outside but the inside is completely done. I’m working on decorating now. It’s taking a little bit longer than expected! Hopefully it won’t take a year. ha! ;) Anyways, I had picked out a yellow rug (You can see it HERE.), but the neutral loving me couldn’t handle it. ;) So recently I switched it out for a white, shaggy rug & put the yellow rug in our bedroom. It looks so much better, & I love the yellow in our bedroom. Yay! So about the same time I was doing the rug switch-a-roo I was contacted by Will, the co-founder of a website called Rug Pad USA.  Rug Pad USA specializes in manufacturing higher end, eco-friendly rug pads that are made in the USA. He asked if I would like to review one of their rug pads! Of course, I said yes, and along the way I learned all about choosing the right rug pad. So I thought I’d share what I learned with you!
