This post is brought to you by Happy Crafters.
Good morning! We have some exciting news in our family! My younger sister & her husband just found out that they are having another boy! She already has a cute & spunky two year old little boy named Owen. Cooper will join our family near Christmas. I can't wait to see these little guys grow up together. We have been busy getting a little package together to send them to say congratulations. Annnnnd I love these cute DIY Big Brother/Little Brother T-shirts that we are going to include~ made even cuter with some bright neon orange iron on vinyl & some white flocked iron on vinyl. They were so easy to make, too! So let’s get started! :)
You'll need a few supplies:
neon orange iron on vinyl (1 sheet) white flocked iron on vinyl (1 sheet)
a Silhouette
this image from the Silhouette Design Store
iron/ironing board
t-shirt & onesie
TIP: When working with heat transfer vinyl always remember to mirror your images.
Especially if you have words! You need it to cut "backwards".
Adjust your Silhouette to the heat transfer settings & cut it out.
Tip: I always do a test cut to make sure everything cuts well.
Remove the excess vinyl from your design, & then put the design on your shirt.
I always put a pillowcase over my design & begin ironing.
Press for 30 seconds & then move to the next spot.
Repeat until your design adheres to the fabric & the backing paper easily comes off.
All done!
Then I just repeated the steps to make the little brother onesie.
So cute! Annnnd so tiny! Sometimes I forget how little babies are!
I can't wait to see these on my little nephews! :)
What do you love giving as baby gift? I'd love to hear.
