Wood Grain Nativity Set at GingerSnapCrafts.com

handmade nativity

A few month’s ago I made some fall blocks, & I loved the contrast of the white vinyl & the stained wood. I thought it would be beautiful as a nativity set. Plus this is sooooo easy to make! It would make a wonderful Christmas gift. I gave this set to my sister. :)

You’ll need a few supplies to get started:
white vinyl
some of these nativity figures
sand paper
MinWax Wood Finish ~ Special Walnut
rubber gloves
foam brush
old rag

nativity supplies

First you’ll cut & stain your wood. I just used 2x4s & a few scrap pieces for my blocks. Then I stained my wood using the wood stain & foam brush. Wipe off the excess stain with a rag. Let dry. Don’t forget to wear your rubber gloves!

Then you’ll cut & apply your vinyl. I did a more detailed tutorial on how to cut & apply vinyl right over {HERE}.

Then all you have left to do is enjoy your new nativity set. :)
