Well, we are finally in the dog days of summer, as they say! ha! ;) Being a parent of five wild kiddos becomes a little bit more challenging during the summer months. Especially when it gets too hot to play outside in the afternoon. Annnnd we’ve already been to the pool & library, & we just need a little quiet time. Our favorites are the Family Movie Night, Quiet Time & TV for Curious Kids categories. We love the Family Movie Night row because you can always find a great movie that the whole family will enjoy watching together. The Quiet Time row is awesome for quiet time, of course! :) I love putting these on for my younger kiddos during our afternoon quiet time. My older kiddos love the TV for Curious Kids. The love watching the Wildlife Specials & How it Works the best!
You probably already have a Netflix-ready device at your house. You can stream Netflix on smartphones, tablets, laptops, Smart TVs, Sony PlayStation, Microsoft Xbox and Nintendo Wii. We used a tiny little box called a Roku to stream Netflix right to our TV. It’s awesome. :)
We usually make our family movie nights with Netflix special by popping popcorn! You can’t really have a movie without popcorn, can you? ha! ;)
Our family’s favorite movies also bring out my kiddo’s creativity off-screen as well. Check out my daughter! She dressed up as a Dalmatian while watching her favorite Netflix movie, 101 Dalmatians! ha! So cute! :)
Netflix delivers HUGE entertainment without breaking the bank! Yay! At only $7.99/month Netflix costs way less than taking our whole family to the movies. It’s definitely worth trying out! Our family uses it daily, and we rarely watch regular TV anymore. I love that we can pick & chose the shows & movies we want to watch (& without commercials!!). I love that we can watch it anytime & anywhere. So grab some popcorn & turn on some Netflix for some fun family time spent together! It will be awesome! :)
