Hello! How are you? It’s Friday! I hope your week was awesome! We had a very rainy week here. I love rainy days. They are so nice & relaxing, & they are the perfect time to watch a movie. :) Our family loves the Avengers series, and we are all super excited about the new MARVEL's The Avengers: Age of Ultron movie coming out in a few weeks! Even my girls love these action packed movies full of super heroes! This past week my youngest daughter & I headed to Walmart for some girl time. Girl time is so important! ;) We were excited to see all the fun MARVEL's The Avengers: Age of Ultron merchandise out & on the shelves. We were even inspired to make this yummy Avengers Inspired Trail Mix together. So keep reading to get all the fun details! :)
When we first got to Walmart we couldn’t help but notice this huge MARVEL's The Avengers: Age of Ultron display. Just about every time we go to Walmart my kiddos ask me if they can have a toy. Usually it’s a no, but you should of seen my daughter’s face when I said, “Sure. Pick out whatever toy you’d like.” Sometimes I can be the fun mom! ha! ;)
You’ll have to keep reading to see what toy she picked out! It’s a classic, and she loves it! ;) If you know my daughter, you would know that she always loves to make something yummy to eat! So while we were at Walmart we picked up some ingredients to make a yummy Avengers Inspired Trail Mix. Yum!
You’ll need:
1 cup pretzel sticks
1 cup mixed nuts
1 cup chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups Avengers Cheez-It crackers
1 cup Avengers Doritos Jacked 3D
4 packages Kelloggs Avengers Fruit Snacks
I just had to show you the Avengers Cheez-It crackers up close. Isn’t that the coolest?
To make this you’ll just dump everything in a bowl, and then stir. That’s it! It makes about 8 servings.
We put the trail mix in cute little treat cups. This would be a great snack to eat while watching the movie or at an Avengers themed party…..
…..or as a snack while playing with your brand new MARVEL's The Avengers: Age of Ultron Lego Set! Eek! :)
This girl loves Avengers AND Legos. So this was the perfect choice for her. It took her about 2 seconds to decide what toy she wanted when we were at Walmart! ha! ;)
She couldn’t wait to get started!
Her big sister even decided to help out! I think the yummy snack helped convince her. ;)
My daughter’s favorite Avengers character is Thor. Isn’t he adorable?
We had such a fun afternoon making our Avengers snack, building Legos & spending time together! You can’t beat girl time with your daughter. It’s the best. I love being her mom! :)
