It’s fall! Lots of fun activities are happening! All the big kiddos are back in school having fun! I still have one at home with me during the day, and he LOVES to have “school”, too! So each Tuesday morning we have a preschool lesson & some fun learning activities. He loves it! This past week the weather was awesome so we had preschool outside, and played this fun preschool letter matching game with Alpha-Bits. (My son also likes to play with his food, so this was the perfect combination for him! ha!) So keep reading to see what we did! ;)
For this activity you’ll need:
Alpha-Bits cereal
a mini muffin pan
ABCs printed out on copy paper
circle hole punch
I just printed out the ABCs on copy paper & then punched out each letter with a circle punch. Then I put a different letter in each spot of the muffin pan! That’s it! It was super simple to put together. Then I spread out the Alpha-Bits on the table, and then my son started sorting away!
He really impressed me with his letter sorting skills! He especially LOVED finding letters that were in his name! Alpha-Bits are so awesome! They are perfect to use for activities like this when you are really working with your kiddos on letter recognition! It’s a great bonding experience with your child while they are learning & playing at the same time, too. (Annnd if they get hungry while playing Alpha-Bits make a great snack!)
This would also be a great activity to set up during Thanksgiving! It would definitely keep the kiddos busy, and they could have a little snack at the same time while they are waiting for dinner. :) They could also spell out their names or things they are thankful for. You could even have the kids make name cards for everyone’s seat with everyone’s name spelled out in Alpha-Bits.
Alpha-Bits are great for fun learning activities, of course, but I also love that they make a healthy & nutritious snack or breakfast for my kiddos. They are made with whole grains & have lots of vitamins & nutrients that are essential for healthy kiddos. Alpha-Bits also have zinc & iron that supports healthy brain development.
