For this project I used the Silhouette Clipboard! I love this stuff! I’ve used it to make some cute gift boxes & a cute Halloween polka dotted box. It’s great for those projects that you need to be a little bit more sturdy.
For this project you’ll need:
Silhouette Chipboard
door hanger image from the Silhouette online store
orange & black copy paper
vinyl (I used this image from the Silhouette online store.)
a pair of googly eyes
hot glue
spray adhesive
shredded paper
ribbon
Halloween duck tape
goodies to fill your box with :)
First you will cut out your door hanger twice with your Silhouette. You’ll cut one using the chipboard & one using the black & orange copy paper. Then I used spray adhesive to stick the orange & black paper to my chipboard. I love the Silhouette chipboard. It is perfect for a project like this one. Then I assembled my box. I did use some hot glue on the big seam down the front so it would be super sturdy.
Then I tucked in the bottom flaps & added a cute piece of Halloween duck tape to hold it in place.
I also added some Halloween vinyl. To make it extra cute a added a pair of googly eyes. Yes, I actually had a few of those left even after my kiddos went crazy making puppets! haha!
Then I added a cute piece of ribbon.
Filled it with some left over Easter grass. ;)
Then I put in some Halloween goodies!
I thought these would be cute to hang on my kiddos doors on Halloween, or they would make super cute neighbor gifts! :)
