Hi Ginger Snap readers!  I'm so excited to be here today! We've been having a ball this month over on I Dig Pinterest celebrating the "Halloween Extravaganza", so I thought I'd continue the theme and share a fun, festive treat with you too!

My kids love all things (friendly) monster.  Is there a child that doesn't?  So when I saw these fun candy eyes the other day at Target, I knew I had to put them to use-Halloween style.  My mom has this famous (well not quite, but it should be) gooey caramel popcorn that my siblings and I used to just gobble right up.  I hadn't made it for years, so I pulled it out of the archive. Why I waited so long, I don't know, but I do know that it'll be making a much more regular appearance at our house in the future.

We are huge Disney Princesses & The Little Mermaid fans at our house, & we can’t wait for the Collector’s Edition BluRay/DVD combo to come out on October 1st. Yay! Our VHS copy has worn out long ago, & we haven’t watched the movie in ages! :( We can’t wait to see it again soon!

In the meantime my kiddos (especially my 6 year old daughter) have had such a fun time playing & using their imaginations to recreate the story with their The Little Mermaid toys. Stenciled Glass Fall Subway Art {tutorial}

Fall is in the air! OK…well maybe not! ha! It’s still pretty hot around here! ;) Buuuut it will be here before you know it! So it’s the perfect time to start working on all of those fall projects, right? Well this year at our house I’m changing up the fall color scheme just a bit. I’m thinking of putting a little turquoise in there instead of the traditional orange, browns & reds. Lately I’ve been busy working on getting our fall mantel ready. Today I’d love to share the very first project I’ve made for our mantel. I’m so loving this Stenciled Glass Fall Subway Art that I made using some Americana Multi-Purpose Satin Paint & Americana Mixed Media Stencil.
