Personalized Baby Blanket with Silhouette Sewable Interfacing {tutorial}
One Monday I showed you how to use the Silhouette Clean Cut Fabric Interfacing, and today I’d love to show how I used the Silhouette Sewable Fabric Interfacing to make this personalized baby blanket. (I originally shared this over at Simply Kierste a few months ago!)
One of my sister's just had a little baby boy ~ Owen! (You can check out the diaper cake I made him.) He is so adorable! They live in Texas (out in the country), & his daddy loves tractors! So I decided to make Owen his own tractor blanket with his name on it. This blanket is so, so easy to make! I don't sew much....so if I can make this YOU can, too!

{wow me} wednesday #104
Welcome to {wow me} wednesday!

So glad YOU are here!
Tonight (or it will be last night when you read this) as we were spending our weekly family night together, the storm that had devastated Oklahoma rolled through our area. It was an intense couple of minutes with high winds, lightning & rain, and the weather radio & sirens going off. We lost power for about an hour, and we almost cranked up the generator but the power came back on (which is why I am able to write this post right now). I know what we experienced was nothing compared to what the people in Oklahoma have experienced this week. My mom called during the storm to check on us and told me about the children lost in Oklahoma. My heart is just breaking for their families, and I pray they can find some kind of comfort & peace as they rebuild their lives. Oklahoma ~ you’re in my prayers! #prayforOklahoma

Introducing the New Summer Contributors Team
A few weeks ago I sent out a call for a Summer Contributors Team at Ginger Snap Crafts. Those kind of things always make me a little nervous….what if no one applies?? Eek! That would be a little embarrassing! Well, thanks to many of YOU I shouldn’t have been worried at all! Over 50 very talented & ah-mazing bloggers applied! You guys blew me away! Thank you all so much for taking the time to email me, sharing your favorite projects, for your kind words & most of all for being YOU! I wish I had could have had each of you that applied on the team but unfortunately there are not that many weeks in the summer! :( So I’ve narrowed it down to 13 bloggers! I am so excited about this group of bloggers. Easy Teacher Gifts with PSA Essentials #PSAEssentials
This post is brought to you by PSA Essentials. #sponsored
This is my last “official” PSA Essentials post. I’m sure you’ll see their stamps in future post at GSC because their stamps are truly ah-mazing & so fun to use! I’ve been working with their Design Team for the past year, and it has been a challenging & learning experience for me. I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you to Libby, the other members of the Design Team & everyone at PSA Essentials. Thank you! Now to the post….
I can’t believe the school year is wrapping up! My kiddos are counting down the days until summer break! Yay! They can’t wait, and neither can I! :) Before school is out we always give our teachers a little thank you gift for all the hard work & dedication they have put in to making the school year a success.
This year my kiddos are giving their teachers these cute candy bar boxes to thank them for a “sweet” year! ;) We made our candy bars a little cuter with the help of PSA Essentials Peel & Stick stamps, cardstock, scrapbook paper, washi tape & twine.
