It's time for Create with Cricut! :) This month it is all about tissue paper!
For this project you will need:
tissue paper
cardstock
Cricut Maker
green cutting mat
glue stick
this Design Space file
First, you will cut out the butterfly shapes with your Cricut Maker (or Cricut Explore Air 2).
Then you can either cut the tissue paper into strips with your Maker. Honestly, it’s easier just to cut them into strips using scissors. ;) Tissue paper & cutting mats don’t mix well unless it’s a super old cutting mat that doesn’t have a lot of stickiness left! ;)
Then just have your kiddos glue the strips on the back.
Flip it over & you have a cute suncatcher. Hang it in the window & see the light stream through. :)
For younger kiddos, you can just use a square of patterned tissue paper.
Super cute! :)
