You will need a few supplies:
Silhouette CAMEO or other digital craft cutter
this image from the Silhouette online store
scissors
iron & ironing board
zipper pillow case

First, you'll open up your design in the Silhouette software.
Tip: Be sure to mirror your image before you cut it out.

Insert your heat transfer vinyl into your CAMEO shiny side down.

Then send your image to be cut.
Be sure to adjust your blade & settings to heat transfer vinyl before cutting.
Tip: Doing a quick test cut is helpful, too!

After your image has cut, carefully remove the excess vinyl.

Next, iron your pillowcase. Then place the letters on top. Put a reusable cover sheet or another pillowcase on top to protect your vinyl, & then press on each letter for about 20 seconds with the warm iron. Flip the pillowcase over & repeat. Let cool. Slowly remove the clear backing paper leaving your shiny letters behind. If it does not come off easily, just repeat the steps until it does.

Next, I layered a glittery star to dot my “i” using the same process.

All done!

Americana vinyl

The only thing left to do was to put my pillow inside.

I love the fun sparkly look & the pop of Americana it gives to our home!
Annnnd it was sooooo easy to make! I know you can make one, too! :)
