Hello! My daughter recently finished up all of her basketball games, and the season is officially over. It was a tough season with lots of snow days & missed games. Thankfully they ended the season on a good note with a big win, & my daughter was able to play starter the last game! Wahoo! Oh, & did I mention she made several baskets that day, too! Yay! To celebrate we decided to make ooey gooey peanut butter cookie bowls for everyone! We used bowls in our school colors, & then filled them with lots of yumminess including a little help from Butterfinger Cups! (You can find this new candy at Walmart!) So keep reading to get this easy recipe!
To make these cookie bowls you can use your favorite peanut butter cookie recipe or you could just use a peanut butter cookie mix. That’s what I did! ha! ;) You’ll also need 1 bag of chocolate chips & some new Butterfinger Cups.
First mix your peanut butter cookie ingredients according to the directions. I also stirred in a few chocolate chips, too. You can never have too much chocolate! ha! ;) Put the cookie dough inside the greased bowl. I found these cute little bowls at Walmart, too. They are awesome! You can put them right into the oven!
Bake in a 350° oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the edges are slightly browned.
Next I melted a bag of chocolate chips in the microwave. Just put them in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between until the chocolate is melted. Spread over the top of the cookie bowl.
Next I put a crumbled Butterfinger Cups/chocolate chip mixture on top. Do this while your cookie bowls are still warm, so everything melts together into a puddle of yumminess! ;)
Next pour yourself a big glass of milk! You are going to need it in a minute! haha! ;)
These cookie bowls are so good! They go perfect with a big glass of milk. These would be great for parties, celebrating your favorite basketball team or anytime you are craving something sweet! ;)
Have you seen the new Butterfinger Cups at Walmart?
Can you think of any fun recipes to use them in? I’d love to hear!
