Alright, let’s get to that tutorial. :)

For this project you will need:

Cricut Rotary Cutter, 60 mm
Cricut Cutting Ruler, Lilac - 18"
Cricut Decorative Self-Healing Mat, Lilac - 18" x 24"
Cricut designer fabric
rubber band

*Next week I’ll be sharing a tutorial with all the other tools. Stay tuned! :)

First, you’ll use the rotary cutter to cut fabric strips.

Each strip was about 5-6 inches long & 1 inch wide. The grid on the cutting mat made it super easy to cut them all the same size using the cutting ruler & the rotary cutter. I love the protective guard that helps keep my fingers safe!

You’ll need about 50 of these strips per hair tie.

Next, you’ll begin tying all of these little guys onto your hair tie. I just did a single knot & pulled it tight.

Just keep moving around the band, making sure to alternate your fabric pieces.

All done! :)

Isn’t that cute? These make a great girls’ camp craft! We made them last year at camp. :)
