Hello! A few months ago Sauder challenged me & several other of my favorite bloggers to a fun challenge. We were each given a piece of furniture & challenged to style it in a unique & fun way. You can see the results of this furniture challenge in this
Put Together Look Book. Go ahead take a peak! ;) I was given this cute, modern side table to work with! Eek! I have always wanted a playroom. We’ve never had the space to devote an entire room, but we did have room to make a cute little play area in our sunroom. I love how this little space turned out, & I am super excited to show you more pictures of this space. I also have a DIY Playroom Art tutorial for you, too! So keep reading! :)
First, let me show you how easy it is to make custom wall art! All you’ll need is some canvas panels. I found this 3 pack for a couple of dollars at the craft store. Then I cut the images out in colorful vinyl using my Silhouette.
Then I just applied the cute vinyl. You can found out how to cut & apply vinyl right {HERE}. That’s it!
To hang these up I just used command strip hangers. Then I strung some trim along the top. Cute! Now it was time to set up our little play area.
I used some tin buckets with chalkboard labels to hold markers & colors.
We had a cute little chair that fit right under the table turning it into a cute little desk.
I put some bins on either side to hold toys.
I filled the drawer with paper, notebooks, pencils & school supplies.
It’s the perfect little spot to get some work done! ha! ;)
Don’t forget to check out the #PutTogether Look Book. :)
